1. Beat together egg, milk(or cream), salt, desired spices and vanilla.
2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Place in pan, and cook on both sides until golden. Serve hot.
For Creme Brulee French Toast:
Place bread slices in pyrex dishes, not touching. Mix ingredients except for spices. pour over bread. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.
Fry in real butter. 10 min.
