Banana Breakfast Barley

banana, freeze dried
2.0 cup(s)
cinnamon, ground
4.0 tablespoon(s)
sugar, white
4.0 tablespoon(s)
sunflower seeds
1.0 cup(s)

Recipe Instructions

At home: pack cinnamon and sugar together. In the field:
1. Boil 6 cups water.
2. Stir in barley and salt. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 10-12 min. Let sit for 5 min.
3. At the same time, rehydrate bananas with 2 cups of boiling water.
4. Add bananas and sunflower seeds to barley. Top with a spoonful of cinnamon-sugar.
