Press the tofu between two plates (with a heavy object on top) for 10 minutes. Preheat the broiler. While the tofu is being pressed, stir together the vegetable oil, soy sauce, hot sauce, and sesame oil and set aside. Cut tofu crosswise into thirds and place the squares ina flameproof dish. Pour the marinade over the tofu and broil for about 5 minutes each side or until bubbly, brown, and crisp.
